It's time again for the 8th annual Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home Golf Event. This year we are giving away $100k in cash, a 2008 Harley-Davidson and a new Chevrolet Silverado for hole in one's on selected par 3's and over $5k in cash for winners of the event. There will be several contest during the tournament including a $1000 prize for a long putt contest, a $250 prize for the lowest score putting contest, ring of fire contest and closet to the pin contest to name a few. The Entry fee is $75 per player/4 man team. First place is $500 and $300 for second place for both flights. It is at Brushy Mountiang Country Club on September 15, 2007. In 1994 it began as a vision. We saw hurting children who had been removed from their natural homes for various reasons. Why not join forces and build a home when home is not an option? It began just like this. It is amazing how God put the right people in touch with each other. These people began raising money to purchase the existing home on Byrd Ridge Road and the 200+ acres that will allow us to grow as God leads. Many people began to see the vision. This dream has continued to spread. Through the gracious support of people who share the desire to do a great work in the lives of children, we have expanded beyond the original home and now have three homes, Genesis, Faith and Charity. And a fourth on the way, HOPE. Those who enter our doors are more blessed from the extended hands of His faithful servants. We maintain an atmosphere like a normal loving home. Our children are raised in the nurture and admonition of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
